- That only applies to the premiums. These families could see deductibles in the thousands of dollars. If you have a catastrophic illness, it certainly is helpful. If you are a relatively healthy family, this "healthcare" will be useless to you.

- My son's high school does have an armed "resource officer" and I must admit it does put my mind at ease. Our county is trying to get them stationed in all of the high schools now after the shootings at Newton. I just don't personally feel having an armed officer in his school is a terrible idea.

- I really don't see anything wrong with this. Being overweight is really no different than being a smoker. Both cause cancer and other life-ending diseases. Why should someone who is thin and healthy pay the same as someone who is obese?
